Why I Get a High When Serving Others

Hi friend!

I hope you’re well! Today I felt like sharing something about WHY I love my job as a coach so much.

I remember my very first client and our first session together. My heart was racing, I was so nervous. I mean, I had just graduated for god’s sake and all my tools were all over the place.

But once we started talking and I asked her questions and held space for her, she opened up and was honest and vulnerable. It felt so good when she started to get aha-moments. The better she felt – the better I felt. The more her perspective shifted, her progress, when she told me about her wins, the better she started to take care of herself, taking charge of her relationship, etc – all that made me feel so happy and proud of her – but also for myself for being able to serve her.

And that is what my life is all about – to make people feel good. (And yes, that includes me). I love to serve people and give them tools on how to work through things in their past and how to work towards their goals.

The better my client feels – the better I feel. That’s a win-win! And I want to feel good and happy. After all, I’m a happiness chaser.

I’m ending today’s post with a few wise words from Eckhart Tolle.

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance” — Eckhart Tolle
